In the first half of the year, growth in all sectors of the economy is observed in Almaty

The number of active SMEs amounted to 171.5 thousand and increased by 5% compared to the same period last year. The growth of tax revenues to the city budget has been ensured. The republican budget collected taxes for 645.2 billions tenge, which has been 9% (51.1 billion tenge) more than in the previous year. The local budget received 184.2 billion tenge, which has been more by 9% (15.2 billion tenge). In this regard, under conditions of stabilization, moderate growth is expected in the city's economy until the end of the year.

In general, the city budget for 2017 is 542.4 billion tenge. Local development budget at the expense of last year's savings increased by 33 billion tenge, or 50%. For repair and construction of roads 2.8 times more are allocated, engineering networks - 1.9 times more, for improvement is almost 2.7 times more than in the previous year.
