62 owners of dilapidated houses this year will be relocated to new five-story buildings in the Turksib district of Almaty
It should be reminded, that the Akim of the city of Almaty instructed to carry out a comprehensive reconstruction of the "old" quarters - to demolish the dilapidated housing and relocate residents to new houses. The renovation program is aimed at improving the quality of life of thousands of citizens and attracting investment in the construction sector.
Half of the dilapidated housing stock of the city of Almaty is located in the Turksib district - 609 dilapidated houses. The Akim of the Turksib district, Bakhytzhan Akzharov, reported on the progress of the execution of the instructions of the Akim of Almaty city, Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, at the Regional Communication Service briefing.
“To solve the problem of dilapidated housing this year, 3 five-story Multi-storey residential buildings (MRB) are being commissioned along Moldagaliyev Street at the corner of Sauranbayev Streetl, to relocate 62 owners with further demolition of three houses and a construction of seven five-storey MRB. At the same time, the construction of two five-story houses on Osipenko street continue,” he said.
In addition, in the area of Kotelnikov-Kassina-Seifullin Avenue, construction of two five-storey houses is underway to resettle 100 owners and further demolish 15 houses.
