The work on the construction of new irrigation networks continues in Almaty

of Almaty inspected the progress of construction of the irrigation network and drainage system in the Algabas microdistrict along the streets of Teipov, Momyshuly, Sokpakbayev, Kaldayakov, Lermontov, Satpayev, Mametov, Bazhanov, Abay, Baytursynov and Ryskulov Alatau district. The microdistrict is carrying out preparatory work on laying the channel length of about 7 kilometers, work is underway to install trenches for drainage pipes up to 2 meters in length 2 kilometers in some areas. Work is under way to clean up, repair and restore parts of the Kargaly river bed running along the territory of the dacha massifs "Teploenergetik" and "Energostroitel".

During the detour, Bauyrzhan Baibek checked the progress of the construction of irrigation networks in the Nauryzbay district along the streets of Nadyrov, Tazhiev, Kulybekov, and Slanov with a length of more than 4 km. According to Sayim Sayfedenov, the deputy of the region, there was no irrigation network on these streets, and for today 1,3 km of new irrigation networks and storm sewerage have already been laid. Completion of construction work is planned by October this year.

It should be noted that in addition to the construction of 14.7 km and the reconstruction of 42.2 km of irrigation networks in 57 streets, eight applications were received from the eight district’s executive committee for the development of design estimates for the construction of new irrigation networks and storm drains along 488 streets, a length of almost 500 km.

Within the framework of the working tour Almaty’s governor Bauyrzhan Baibek also inspected the progress of construction works to strengthen the slopes along Volochaevskaya Street along the Malaya Almatinka River in the Zhetysu District, along the Tayirova Street in the Medeu District and the Baganashil Municipality in the Bostandyk District. On these sites, excavation works are carried out to install a retaining and protective wall made of gabion structures and a retaining wall.

According to the Zhetysu district, the slope is 345 meters long, the height reaches 7 meters. At the present time, work has been completed on stubbing and cutting stumps, cutting the slope with the development and removal of soil is completed by 90%. Technological thoroughfares are provided through the dismantling and transfer of a medium-pressure district gas pipeline, dismantling and installation of a temporary high pressure water pipeline, partly supporting electrical lines, etc. Works on this section are planned to be completed before October 1 of this year.

In the Medeu district, the length of the slope is 470 meters. At present, more than 410 meters of work has been done to dismantle metal fences, concrete blocks, wooden outbuildings, and more than 1600 m3 of garbage. The work is planned to be completed in October this year.

In md. "Baganashil" of the Bostandyk district is being carried out to drill wells and determine the soil of the soil on the site. Designers developed a type of retaining wall, taking into account seismic and soil properties. At present, the contractor has carried out work to cut the slope and take out the soil. The works will be completed in late October this year.

In md. "Aktobe" of Bostandyk region completed reconstruction of the bridge, which connects three private houses and 12 plots of land. The dismantling of existing reinforced concrete walls, the installation of monolithic reinforced concrete (flaps), the laying of slabs on the foundations for the links of rectangular reinforced concrete pipes, the installation of a concrete bottom of the river bed and the asphalting of the bridge surface with the installation of metal fences with handrails.

During the working tour Almaty’s governor Bauyrzhan Baibek also inspected the construction of the administrative center and social facilities of the Nauryzbaysky district, as well as improvement along the Kargaly river.
