B. Sagintayev got acquainted with the conditions for organizing the educational process for children with special needs
During a working detour, Akim of Almaty, Bakhytzhan Sagintayev, got acquainted with the provision of sanitary and epidemiological safety measures in a special correctional boarding school №7.
In his Instagram account, the Akim of the city, B. Sagintayev, noted that in connection with the start of the new quarter, the number of duty groups in schools has increased. The most vulnerable are children with disabilities.
“I visited a special correctional boarding school # 7, where I got acquainted with the organization of the educational process and the measures taken for sanitary and epidemiological safety,” wrote B. Sagintayev.
There are 216 children studying at the boarding school, and at-home lessons are organized for another 200. Conditions have been created for social and psychological rehabilitation and adaptation, the development of creative potential and labor training. Mastering the basics of sewing or carpentry, teenagers, after the 9th grade go to colleges, get a profession. The school also hosts physical therapy, music and dance classes.
