The governor of Almaty met with the Vice-Minister of Science, Research and Economics of Austria

The governor of Almaty has mentioned that Austria is one of the strongest innovators in Europe, has advanced technologies in the field of renewable energy sources, as well as experience in the development of ski tourism.

In her turn B.Girlinger noted that Austrian businessmen were interested in the implementation of infrastructure projects within the Almaty 2020 development program, incl. In the field of modernization of housing and communal services, transport reform, processing of solid waste, tourism, etc.

In general, there are 50 enterprises in Almaty with the participation of Austrian capital in the sphere of trade, medicine, finance, and tourism. This year, the trade turnover between Almaty and Austria shows a positive trend, reaching a mark of 25.5 million euros in the first half of the year.
