The needy Almaty residents were written off the debts for the communal apartment for almost 80 million tenge
On behalf of the Akim of Almaty, B. Sagintayev, in order to support certain categories of citizens in need, debts for utilities were written off.
 
This measure affected the townspeople belonging to socially vulnerable groups of the population.
 
Utilities of the city "ALTS"(Almaty Heating Networks) and "Almaty Su" (Almaty Water) wrote off accounts receivable for heating, hot and cold water, which was compensated by the local budget.
 
This measure covered 5055 people for 79.9 million tenge from the category:
- participants and disabled people of the Second World War - 11 people for 78,061 tenge;
- participants of the labor front - 840 people for 4 659 507 tenge;
- persons equated to the participants and invalids of the Great Patriotic War - 115 people per 1 520 764 tenge;
- veterans of hostilities in other states - 49 people per 1 881 004 tenge;
- large families with 4 or more minor children - 462 people for 15 898 519 tenge;
- invalids of the first, second and third groups - 2709 people for 37 619 113 tenge;
- recipients of targeted social assistance - 224 people for 6 735 501 tenge;
- pensioners with a minimum pension or less - 211 people for 7,770,687 tenge;
- families raising a disabled child - 346 people for 2,438,187 tenge;
- families receiving benefits for the loss of a breadwinner - 88 people for 1 271 369 tenge.
