At the same time, the reconstruction of almost a third of the historical center of Almaty is being completed. In the renovated streets of Zhibek Zholy, Panfilov, Kabanbai batyr and Gogol, the irrigation and rainwater systems have been reconstructed, the renovation of the facades of buildings within the framework of a single architectural style, the installation of small architectural forms, children's and sports grounds, dry fountains, etc., are being completed.

Earlier, the opening of the reconstructed square "Astana", the new administrative and business center of the Nauryzbay district, the public reception center of the city "Open Almaty" and others took place on the Day of the city.

It is worthy note that this year will also be equipped with 472 new yard areas and two pedestrian zones in each district. Until the end of the year, 102 unregulated pedestrian crossings will be reconstructed with the organization of lighting at night. Funds have been allocated for the construction and reconstruction of 317 km of urban water supply networks and 265 km of sewerage.
