"Almaty is a garden city and our task is to preserve existing trees, while constantly multiplying the green fund. Today, the city's businessmen in the framework of the "Tugan Zher" program implement not only infrastructure projects, but also actively plant trees, which is also very important. I urge our citizens to support this initiative so that our beautiful city is even more beautiful and green," Bauyrzhan Baibek said.

As a whole, in the current year more than 26 thousand trees have been planted in Almaty, another 5 thousand green plantings are planned to be planted. In addition, about 7 thousand trees will be planted in the framework of compensatory and initiative planting. Within the framework of the social responsibility of business, 210 trees will be planted in the city by the end of the year.
