The Center for Law Enforcement Services operates on the principle of a "one-window", where citizens can obtain all the necessary information on a particular case from the operators of the center. The format of the work is identical to that of the service centers of the population - first the visitors to the center go to the reception and get advice. Then they turn to the operators with their problem, which they send to prosecutors, lawyers, mediators, or other professionals who will provide legal services for free.
The total area of the Center for Law Enforcement Services is about 600 sq.m. and is a comfortable room equipped with modern engineering equipment, electronic queue system, self-service "Connection Point", waiting room and other necessary infrastructure. The walls of the center are glass, symbolizing the openness and transparency of law enforcement structures.

"Very recently we launched in the city a public reception office of the executive committee “ Open Almaty ", which is designed to help the citizens in solving life situations that are not regulated by various regulatory and legal acts. Everyone who has applied on the principle of "one window" will be able to receive advice, leave his appeal to the state authorities. In addition, the tourist information center "Visit Almaty" has opened in the city, where every foreign visitor will be able to obtain exhaustive information and advice. I am confident that the Center for Law Enforcement Services of the city will become an important tool in enhancing the effectiveness, transparency and accountability of government agencies," Almaty’s governor Bauyrzhan Baibek noted.

According to the Prosecutor General of the country Zhakip Asanov, the main tasks of the center are to increase the level of confidence in the law enforcement system, exclude bureaucracy and administrative barriers, access to legal services provided, and improve the efficiency of law enforcement agencies.

"The task of the center is to provide quality legal assistance. The opening of the center will make the work of state and law enforcement bodies more transparent, and increase the credibility of them on the part of the population. Every Almaty citizen should believe that when he comes to the center of law enforcement services, he will receive quality assistance. I also want to thank Almaty’s executive committee for supporting us, creating all the necessary conditions for the opening of the center. Now the main task of the center's employees is to provide high-quality work,"Asanov said.

The Prosecutor General also noted that the Head of State pays much attention to the program "Digital Kazakhstan" and now the department is actively working to translate the entire criminal and administrative process into a digital format. Today, a special program "E-criminal case" has been developed. The program covers all stages of the criminal process: from the registration of a crime, its investigation and to the execution of a sentence.
