Furmanov street will be renamed Nursultan Nazarbayev avenue

During the session the governor of the Almaty city Bauyrzhan Baibek mentioned that after the onomastic commission’s acceptance the suggestion of renaming 112 repeated street names there were many appeals from the representatives of intelligence, NPO, the citizens, especially from the youth of renaming one of the main street of the city- Furmanov street by Elbasy. It is a person who is the first founder of an independent Kazakhstan

«This yaer we celebrate 20years of Astana. We remember, the history itself has proved that how the Elbasy’s decision of replacing the capital was far-sighted and correct. It is not only connected with the foundation of a new modern city in the center of Eurasia,but from the point of view of developing Almaty which has had a stong impulse as the business center of the country. This decision has stimulated the private initiative, the development of business spirit altogether with the economical reform of the President. Nowadays Almaty is the regional magnate and the biggest megalopolis in Central Asia.», said B. Baibek.

He mentioned that thanks to the stable support of Elbasy, the system reform made for the city’s economics has grown it more than 100 times, the number of small and medium business has grown for 130 times.

If at the beginning of 90’s Almaty supplied the ten’s part of GDP, nowadays the megalopolis has formed the 5th part of the economy. It provides the fourth oil taxes income of the country. There produces the 4th part of all production and the service of small and medium business.

«By the Elbasy initiative there was taken the decision of Constitution acceptance,the national currency, the formation of Armed Force, the state symbol’s confirm and the closing of Semey polygon. That is why it is logical that such decision is accepted exactly in Almaty.», said the governor of the city.

It should be mentioned that the name of the President N.A.Nazarbayev has been given for the streets of Amman in Jordan and in Grozny of the Chechen Republic ten years ago. Besides it, there are the streets named after N.A.Nazarbayev in several cities of Turkey. The main streets has been named after him in the capital city of Tatarstan, Kazan.

According to the opinion of city maslikat’s deputy, the President of Turkish national center «Akhyska» Ziyatdin Kasanov, today we can say bravely that the initiatives of the first President of our country- Nursultan Nazarbayev has made Kazakhstan well-known in the international society.

«Thanks to the personal authority of the President, Kazakhstan has become the reliable negotiation partner in the decision of interstate crisises. Besides it, Nursultan Nazarbayev recommended himself as one of the always active politician in the sphere of non-spreading nuclear weapon and it’s disarmament. He has voluntarily refused his country’s nuclear weapon and he has made the end of Semey polygon’s testing. Ijoin to the opinions of my collegues and I think today’s decision of renaming the Furmanov street is necessary and timely.», he added.

In his turn, the maslikhat’s deputy and the chief editor of «Almaty akhshamy» newspaper, Sarsenbay Kali mentioned that this was the city’s public’s historical decision which was long expected.

«We remember and honor our ancestors who fought for our land. Now in the modern world the fighter for the independence of Kazakhstan, the founder of the statehood, the person who has made our motherland famous in the world’s arena is, of course without saying, the first President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Our task is to make ever-lasting his deeds and it is just not my opinion, it is also the suggestions to our newspaper from the citizens. It’s kind of honor given for our dear state, independence and descendants.», said S.Kali.

The deputy of the city’s maslikhat, the representative of the tatar center of humanitarian development «Ildash» Nurya Niyazova prefers that the fundamental success of Kazakhstan is the stability and the concordance, the peace and the friendship among all the nations of the country.

«It is the main property which has become possible is thanks to the wise and weighed strategy of the Head of the State ,his model of consolidation of our nation in the basis of civil identity. Peace, agreement and unity make our country to develop and to decide the main task in which our president always says is the improving of well-being of citizens. Our city is the vivid example of the success of the Elbasy model securing of the interethnic agreement. We live friendly, we work together, we study together and we have a rest together. They feel themselves here confident they see the perspectives here. That is why the decision of renaming the street is, I think, correct and long expected.», said N.Niyazov.

In this way, by the unanimous decision of the deputies of the Al+maty city’s maslikhat, Furmanov street will be renamed after the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elbasy - Nursultan AbishovichNazarbayev.

We remind you that it has known the renaming of more than 100 repeated streets before it. Taking into account that there have been 12 Abay streets, 3 M.Auezov streets,13 ZH.Zhabayev streets,6 Kurmangazy streets, 5 Tole bi, streets 3 Kazybek bi, streets , 3 Aiteke bi streets , 8 Raiymbek batyr, 4 Nauryzbai batyr, 8 Karasai batyr, 4 A. Baytursynov streets, 5 S. Seifullin streets 6 A.Moldagulova streets,6 M.Mametova and the others in the new joined territory of the city.

According to it, about 42 streets of Almaty will be named after the name of outstanding people contributed for the development of the country. Others will have the geographical name, or it will be historically, culturally or traditionally connected one of Kazakhstan.

For example, there will be the streets of Ch.Aitmatov, G.Belger, T.Bigeldinov, E.Serkebaev, K.Kenzhetayev, S.Kalmykov, K.Myrzaliyev «the father»of first Almaty aport and many others.

There is no necessity of making the special procedure which makes the discomfort for citizens. In case of base change of the streets of the state body, all necessary references may be taken through the electronic portal of the government by using EDS or you can take it in the departments of the CHS in several minutes.
