Free rinks opened in Almaty on the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Rent skates for 1 hours will be 600 tenge. The mode of skate rental from 10 am to 10 pm on weekdays, at weekends from 12-00 to 00.00 hours.

"Ice, children's and sports grounds are set to create favorable conditions for citizens to engage in outdoor sports. The skating rinks are absolutely free and anyone can come with their skates and ride at any time, spend time with the family. There are also points of general catering and skating," the Almaty city’s governor B. Baibek said.

Note that in Almaty for the past two years 732 yards have been equipped. This is every fifth site in the city. Within the framework of the project "Sports in my yard" about 6 thousand children are engaged free of charge on 75 domestic sports grounds with professional instructors. By 2020, we plan to cover all 600 sports grounds of the city.
