In Almaty there were summed up the first results of the implementation of the city road map of youth support until 2020

The governor of Almaty Bauyrzhan Baibek noted that on the instructions of Elbasy, 2017 in Almaty was declared the Year of Youth. Based on an in-depth analysis of the situation in the youth sphere, the first city road map for supporting young people until 2020 is a document containing concrete measures, provided with specific resources.

"We always say that young people are the future of Kazakhstan, the driving force of the country's development. In your hands are the achievements of our Independence, the fruits of our Elbasy work. That is why the Head of State always emphasizes that caring for young people is the main meaning of his policy. Education, employment, housing, leisure. An effective solution of these basic issues not only provides support to young citizens, but creates the necessary conditions for their self-realization. Our principal goal is to create conditions for the youth to realize their interests and their potential,"B.Baibek said.

The governor of Almaty noted that by implementing the instruction of the Head of State to support youth, an effective infrastructure was created that was oriented to specific categories of youth and tasks.

So, within the framework of the program "Ruhani Zhangyru" the first stage of the youth Loft Center was opened, which unites "career centers", volunteers, curators of hostels, work with young people on the principle of "one window".

Career Center has become a communication channel informing young people about the existing vacancies in the city, possible areas of employment, thanks to which more than 8 thousand people have already been employed. Free education in technical and vocational education for 2,500 people and 3,000 young people are covered by short-term courses in various professions.

In 2017, the housing program "Almaty Zhastary" was launched in the pilot mode, for which 1 billion tenge has already been allocated from the local budget. Almaty citizens under the age of 35 can receive a preferential loan for the purchase of an apartment. More than 6,600 applications have been received today. Until the end of the year, it is planned to give keys to young families from 100 apartments.

Taking into account the problem of lack of hostels, the project on financing the construction of hostels through JSC "NC" SEC "Almaty" was launched. To date, a memorandum of cooperation has been signed with several universities, individual entrepreneurs. Within the framework of the "Ruhani Zhangyru" program, the construction of 4 hostels for 2000 places is being completed. Starting next year, construction of two more hostels for 2,400 places will begin.

According to the governor of Almaty, within the framework of the Youth Support Roadmap, much attention is paid to self-employed youth: those who come to the city from the regions and experience difficulties with integration. Today, this work is carried out by the Loft Center, regional centers for working with young people. To cover self-employed youth with organized leisure, the project "Dysenbilik Football" is being implemented, in which this year 40 teams from 52 markets of the city participated.

In his speech, Bauyrzhan Baibek noted that this year was dedicated to the youth of the city, but there is another category of citizens in need of special attention, therefore the efforts of the city authorities will be accentuated by the support of the older generation.

Within the framework of the youth forum ,the ceremony of awarding the "Zhastar Zhalyny" prize was held.

So, Volunteer of the Year "Zhyl Volunteer" became chairman of the League of Volunteers Aziz Kadenbek. The best young entrepreneur in the category "Zhas Kasipker" was the managing partner of "RUMI GROUP" Kuanysh Shonbay.

The prize "Sport of Salah", as the sportsman of the year, was awarded to a chess player, Zhansaya Abdumalik. The best young teacher "Zhas talimger" became the pro-rector for social development of the University of International Business Kairzhan Mendygaliyev. "El Kyzmetshіsі" was recognized as an expert in the reception of documents of the Bostandyk district CHS Irina Kukharskaya.

The nomination "Meirmdy zherek" was given to Aydin Toksanbayeva, the founder of the group of volunteers "Kayyrmdy zhandar". The activist of the year "Belsendi zhas" was the leader of the club "G38" Aysulu Yerniyazov.

In the nomination "Shabyt" the winner was the designer, artist Kristina Deputatova. The journalist Ayan Kalmurat was named the blogger of the year "Belsendi blogger". The prize "Zhas Otbasy" was received by the head of the association "Zhastar Uni" Dauren Babamuratov.
