In Almaty new buses entered service on route №70

As the head of the Office of Passenger Transport and Highways of the city Maksut Isakhov reported, within the maintenance of Route 70 a private carrier did not have the necessary number of rolling stock, which caused a lot of complaints from the passengers.

"The route is quite in demand, since it starts in md. "Kokzhiek", runs through the city center and ends in md. "The mountain giant." It was decided to organize maintenance of the route of LLP Almatytelektrotrans with the allocation of the necessary buses. These are new low-floor 12 meter buses of ecological class Euro-5, equipped with air conditioners, ramps, CCTV cameras. We expect that the passenger traffic will increase several times," M.Isakhov said.

It should be reminded that previously new buses came to service routes No 86, 65, 103, 50, 126, 112, route No. 77 was renewed.

In general, this year in Almaty, funds have been allocated for the purchase of 388 buses, of which 165 are already on the routes, the remaining 223 - will be issued before the end of this year.
