Ceremonial flower laying to the Independence Monument of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Almaty

To the sounds of solemn ceremonial music performed by the military brass orchestra, the leadership of the city, the Council of Veterans, political parties and public associations, participants in the December events of 1986, youth organizations, as well as city residents laid flowers to the main symbol of independence on the Republic Square.

As part of the event, servicemen of the Almaty regional garrison marched in front of the ceremony participants.
