The governor of Almaty got aquainted with the progress of infrastructure construction in the Industrial Zone

During the visit to the Industrial Zone, Bauyrzhan Baibek got acquainted with the activity of the new enterprise for the production of cartridges and solar batteries of the trade mark "ALATAU".

According to Murat Rakhimzhanov, the company's CEO, the capacity of the first production line is more than 75,000 cartridges per year, which is planned to be doubled by 2019. The enterprise employs 40 people, but with the increase in capacity, the number of new jobs will double. The assortment of production makes more than 150 models of cartridges «ALATAU».

"On the instructions of the Head of the State, all conditions are created today on the territories newly annexed to the megalopolis. Alatau and Nauryzbay districts develop according to the principle of polycentricity, it is already quite self-sufficient. The industrial zone of the Alatau District is being built to support entrepreneurship and is primarily aimed at the development of priority industries in Almaty. Preference is given to investment projects aimed at redeployment of industrial enterprises from residential areas of the city, the release of technological, innovative products and import substitution. In addition, the launch of enterprises will create new jobs in the Alatau district," said Bauyrzhan Baibek.

During the working tour the governor of Almaty got acquainted with the progress of the construction of the plant for the production of cable and wire products of the Russian company KMK Investment, the Chinese plant for the production of steel welded pipes of large diameter "Asia Steel Pipe Company", and the new Japanese plant "Tokyo Rope Almaty", which expands the production of the engineering security systems.
