More than 1700 children took part in the New Year tree of Almaty’s governor

The governor of Almaty Bauyrzhan Baibek came to congratulate the small townsfolk on the coming holiday.

"We are always proud to talk about the achievements of young Almaty residents. Every year you win more and more awards at international olympiads, competitions of scientific projects. Only in 2017, Almaty schoolchildren won 61 gold, 76 silver and 90 bronze medals. In turn, the state shows constant concern for you, strives to give you the best education, to create conditions for all-round development. All this is done so that you grow up smart, healthy, loved our Kazakhstan, made it known around the world, and we were proud of you. I also want to thank all our little artists who take part in the festive concert, which today give us the fire of their hearts," the Almaty city’s governor noted.

Bauyrzhan Baibek also congratulated on the victory in the Ukrainian show "Children’s voice "to the pupil of the 56th school of Danelia Tuleshova.

"The success of every child is the success of the whole country. Danelia, all Kazakhstanis are proud of you. I want to wish you great successes, that you from the child prodigy become a real world-class star. I also want to congratulate your mother Elena. For any victory of the child there is a huge work of parents and, first of all, mothers," said Bauyrzhan Baibek.

A festive program called "New Year's Wonders" was prepared for children by circus performers, showing a light laser show accompanied by performances of trained animals, acrobats, jugglers, clowns, etc.

In the course of the celebration on behalf of the city’s governor, the small guests were presented with gifts, incl. GPS-clock with electronic tracking system for parents, stationery, educational games, soft toys, sets for artists and artists, sweet gifts, etc.
