In Almaty the buses of №127 routes have been renewed

Buses of this route, previously served by a private carrier, have long provoked complaints from passengers because of their deterioration.

Starting today, 12 buses will be served daily with an interval of six minutes for the maintenance of the route from Kazakhfilm microdistrict to Kunayev st. Raiymbek avenue and back. These are low-floor 9.5 meter buses equipped with air conditioners, CCTV cameras, ramps, etc. It is expected that the renewal of the rolling stock will increase passenger traffic on the route from seven to 9,500 people.

Previously, new buses went to routes No. 12, 22, 70, 86, 65, 103, 50, 126, 112, route No. 77 was renewed, route No. 1 and main line No. 201 were launched. To complete the transport services connected to the city from the neighboring area of the villages, 10 routes were launched.

In total, 388 buses of various capacities have been purchased within the framework of the transport reform implemented in Almaty, of which 230 already on the routes, and about 160 new buses will be phased out by the end of February. In turn, private carriers also purchase 254 new buses, of which 91 already ply on the roads of the city.
