The chairman of the national assembly of the republic of Korea visited to Almaty within the framework of the official visit to Kazakhstan

During the meeting with the chairman of the national assembly of the republic of Korea, the governor of the Almaty city Bauyrzhan Baibek mentioned that there had been established a warm relationship between the countries and the trade-economic partnership had been developing dynamically. Besides it, nowadays there are living the third part of all the Koreans of Kazakhstan. There is actively working the Korean ethno-cultural community. There is published the republican Korean magazine«Kore Ilbo».

In his turn, the chairman of the national assembly of the country Chung Sye- kyun told that he was impressed with the beauty and the friendship of Almaty.

«I have to visit to the wonderful capital Astana- a center of the political life of the Central Asia. At the same time, I always wanted to visit to Almaty which was famous by it’s traditions, comfort and the mountains. After this, in my own list Almaty will be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Besides it, there is done the best condition for going in for the winter sports. The fact of it is the active participation of the Kazakh sportsmen in the Olimpic games 2018 in Pyeonchang where our fans have sincerely supported for Denis Ten», told Chung Sye- kyun.

It should be mentioned that nowadays The Republic of Korea is in the list of 12 biggest trade partners of Kazakhstan. In Almaty city there are 290 enterprises with the share of the Southern Korean capital in the sphere of trade, building, real estate, telecommunication, and the others. In 2017 the commodity turnover was 1,7 billions between the countries. In its turn, the commodity turnover with Almaty was risen for 16,7% amounted for 163,1 millions USA dollars.

The South Korean delegation was accompanied by the Mazhlis chairman of the RK parliament Vladimir Bozhko, the Senate deputy of the RK parliament George Kim, The mazhlis deputy of the RK parliament Maira Aisina.
