There will be renewed another 30% bus parks within the framework of transport reform in Almaty

Elaborated route based on the appeals of the citizens covers the highway streets of Zharokov,Rozybakiev,Ryskulov and it will run between microdistricts Kazakhfilm and Algabas. 20 low-floored buses with big volume are for it’s service with the interval of 6-7 munites of movement.

In general, last two years within the framework of the realized transport reform,500 new buses started off for the route lines. In the result of the mass updating, 18 route’s medium intervals are shortened for 3 times and it’s been 9 minutes. Everyday numbers of passengers are increased for 46 % on the average. Besides it, 14 routes have been updated and elaborated. Now, the share of the buses till 3 years of exploitation has been 44 % of the city’s omnibus park.

Instead of it,the governor of Almaty Bauyrzhan Baibek mentioned that for the purpose of stable public transport system establishment in coincidence with the OECD standards, it’s necessary to continue the work of updating and enlarging the autobus park in Almaty.

So, in this year LLP«Almatyelectrotrans» due to the saved means and benefits plans to buy 199 buses of LIAZ and IVECO types. 200 buses of gas will also be bought by LLP«Green Bus company».In his turn,the private carriers will buy 131 buses. In this way, in 2018 there will be renewed another 30% autobus park of Almaty.

Besides it, there are continued the work of metro line construction and two new stations. BRT is going to be realized and the preparation of LRT project. At the end of the year Kazakh-German companies plan to open a factory of electrobus outlet of the third generation.

We should remind that in Almaty there has already been updated the buses of №12, 22, 50, 56, 57, 65, 69, 70, 86, 95, 103, 112, 115, 124, 126, 127, 131, 137 routes and renewed the №77 и №98 routes. There has started a route№1 and a highway route №201. There have started off 10 routes for full transport service of joined villages to the city from the adjacent regions
