The Iveco bus on gas will be tested on the city route of Almaty

As the head of the department of passenger transport and automobile roads of the city Maksut Isakhov said, the gas-powered bus would serve the route No. 12, running from the hotel of Kazakhstan to the "Medeu" VSK for three months.

"Buses of this brand have proved themselves in the world market on the positive side, but it is important for us to test it in Almaty conditions, therefore this route was chosen for maximum load. Within the framework of the transport reform implemented by the governor of Almaty, the city creates the necessary infrastructure for servicing buses on gas, transparency of the system is ensured; in the Alatau district, a 200-bus fleet is being built, and manufacturers are interested in this. After comparing all the characteristics taking into account the optimal combination of price and quality, carriers will purchase buses of a certain brand," he said.

According to the regional manager of CNH Industrial Roberto Bonzo, the bus for Almaty is brought from Europe and meets the highest quality standards.

"If the carriers of Almaty stop at our brand, we will be able to provide domestic assembly buses, which are manufactured at the plant in the city of Kostanay. Accordingly, favorable price and guarantee conditions will be offered," said Orudzh Nazarov, managing director of Saryarka Avto Prom LLP.

Recall that the route number 12 is also testing the bus on gas brand Mercedes-Benz.
