Due to the tax increase, additional funds have been alloted to the social needs of citizens in Almaty

The adapted budget of Almaty will become even more socially-oriented, where only the most priority projects are taken into account. Thus, within the framework of the "Five Social Initiatives of the President", young people will be supported, including the city housing program "Almaty zhastary". To give an opportunity for young families to buy their own housing without an initial payment at a rate of 5%, 2 billions tenge were alloted.

850 millions tenge were granted to increase the state order for pre-school education of children in private gardens for 2,859 children. More than 4 000 children from low-income families will be sent for summer vacation.

It is planned to increase the one-time social help for veterans during the Victory Day of the Great Patriotic War from 150 thousand to 250 thousands tenge and for equated ones from 30 thousands to 50 thousands tenge. Monthly assistance will be increased for veterans of the Great Patriotic War to pay utility bills from 5.5 to 6.5 MCI.

Low-income citizens will be provided with a one-time assistance for compensation of costs for the installation and the installation of gas equipment from a common branch to the house (to the owner of an individual apartment house) in the amount of 100% of the cost per point.

At the end of the year, more than 3,000 people will be provided with workplaces by the Productive Employment Development Program.

Within the framework of realization of the program "Digital Kazakhstan" ,this year nearly 100% schools will be equipped with high-speed internet and computer equipment. Information systems will be introduced in all medical institutions of the city, and accounting forms will be changed into a paperless format.

As you know, Almaty is the leader for the implementation of informatization in the field of security and digitalization of transport. The city has already installed more than 115 thousand CCTV cameras in yards and leisure facilities. Today, a third of all fines for traffic violations are done electronically. Until the end of the year, funds will be shared for the full transfer of fines and half the volume of criminal cases to the electronic form.

By electronic ticket ONAY 460 million transactions were made for 24 billions tenge. The project "A-Parking" includes 10% of the city's parking spaces, with an increase in tax revenue for 6 times. This year in Almaty, the design of a single center for managing traffic will begin with the installation of smart traffic lights. In addition, a CPS on digital monitoring of mudflow hazards is being developed.

As a part of the current transport reform in 2018, the bus park of the city will be updated by another third. Thus, LLP "Almatyelectrotrans" allocated the funds of the purchase for 199 buses. Another 200 buses on gas will be bought by "Green Bus Company" LLP and 131 buses by private carriers. In general, last two years, 500 new buses have run along the city routes. The regularity of passage increased to 90%, and the interval of traffic was reduced by 3 times.

Parks will be renewed in Medeu, Bostandyk, Turksib and Zhetysu districts due to the improvement and the housing and communal services of the city on the principle of polycentricity. Funds have been allocated for the reconstruction of river beds "Ulken and Kishi Karasu", as well as for the repair of underground pedestrian crossings.

If 455 yards were made last year, then in 2018 another 585 households would be additionally equipped in all districts of the city. In addition, 130 houses will be repaired in the framework of the Modernization of Housing and Communal Services.
