In Almaty the sidewalks will be repaired and the new sidewalks will be constructed for more than 30 km

During the reconstruction of the street-road nets there will be done the renewal of defected irrigation ditches, the demontage of useless construction and the landscaping.

For raising the traffic capacity, there will just be the longitudinal parking pockets. In its turn, for the pedestrian safety improvement, there is planned a narrowing of arrival from the streets. Besides it, on behalf of the city’s governor, sidewalks are being inspected for the different illegal objects’ construction capture which makes difficult for pedestrian passage.

Besides it ,new pedestrians have been done in Turksib district, i.e. in Stachanovskaya, Paris communes, Shymkentskaya and Budennogo streets. In Auezov district, there are being done the works in several inter yards of the №6 и №8 microdistricts and in Bostandyk district, along the Dunayev street between Zharokov and Khodzhanov streets. The same works are being done in all the districts of the city.

It should be mentioned that within the framework of 2 year lasting Almaty’s reconstruction there will be renewed all the important avenues of the city in this year. According to the modernization of the engineering infrastructure ,it is planned to renew more than 12 km heating nets. Besides it, instead of 455 ready-made yard areas,585 Almaty yards will be repaired.
