In Almaty representatives of 54 countries in the world will accept an international declaration of Red Cross and Red Crescent

While opening the international conference, the governor of Almaty has read the greeting speech of the Head of State. There has been written an important role of the organization in settling down an acute humanitarian problem of our time and in the provision of help in time for people who have been suffered from the result of armed conflicts and the natural disaster.

«Kazakhstan makes the strong support for the Red Cross movement and the Red Crescent as the member of it. Nowadays, by being in the position of the temporary member of the council of UN security and also as the initiative of Astana process, the country effects for making more developed, safer and more stable world. Only the cooperative action based on the trust, mutual respect and mutual comprehension leads to this key purpose of the humanity. I believe that the adopted declaration by the conclusion of the Almaty declaration will be an important contribution in search of the effective way in overwhelming the humanitarian crisis and in improvement the standard of living for the people who need for help and the defense.», said in the message.

During the conference Bauyrzhan Baibek mentioned that by developing the event tourism, Almaty has become a dialogue area for holding the business negotiation and the business meeting. Only from the beginning of the year, «Eurasia weeks»,OECD, digitalization forum with the participation of the head of the CIS countries have been there. In autumn there will be the number of important international events, including the 40th anniversary of the Almaty declaration of WHO, and the 30 years of European nets «The city health».

«At the beginning of the independence, the multinational people of Kazakhstan with Elbasy, N.A.Nazarbayev have chosen the peace, the stability and the intensive economic development. Nowadays Kazakhstan is the key country of the Eurasia, the admitted mediator in decision of different international crisis ,i.e. from Karabakh till Syria. In recent years under Kazakhstan chairmanship, there have been an Islam Conference and the summit of OSCE. In this autumn there will be opened a regional hub of UN in Almaty. At the beginning stage there will work 20 representatives of the international organizations and the agencies.», said B.Baibek.

In its turn, the president of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies Francesco Rocca told that the Almaty Declaration would become one of the basic documents for the organization for the next four years. The last time such a declaration was adopted in 2014 in Florence, Italy.

"Thanks to the work of more than 17 million volunteers, we are the largest humanitarian network in the world. However, in many respects the success of our initiatives depends on the quality of their implementation on the ground. We express our special gratitude to Kazakhstan for its commitment to the values of our organization," concluded Francesco Rocca.
