From the beginning of the year nearly 100 objects of preschool education have opened as part of the PPP.

Today the Mayor of Almaty Bauyrzhan Baybek familiarized with the construction of the school No. 168 and visited new kindergartens in the Medeu district.

Thus, a new nursery garden No. 115 for 120 seats has been built in the micro-district Samal-2 under a public-private partnership with the company "BAUR Kazakhstan". The preschool institution will be transferred to the property of the city and will create 35 permanent jobs. Also, the RC "Samal Deluxe" will open a kindergarten "Kinderland" for 45 seats.

The Mayor noted that the construction of important social objects is a direct execution of the Order of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev on improvement of the standards of living of the population.

The renewed school No. 168 with the Kazakh language of education for 600 seats will be commissioned in October this year. The building of the school is constructed according to the European quality standards and will have all necessary infrastructures.

"We strongly encourage the construction of infrastructures as part of the PPPs. As of today, we have built lots of hospitals and schools in the city; this all creates jobs and has a multiplicative effect in general. Since the beginning of this year we have opened 95 private preschools in Almaty; we are planning to open 52 more until the end of the year. According to our estimation, these 95 private centers save the city budget in nearly 10.5 billion KZT, taking into account the direct savings without the ongoing cost of repairs, maintenance, service", - B. Baybek said.

He also reminded that in the framework of the state and government programs the city allocates significant funds to stimulate economic growth, to support business activity, and to create jobs.

In general, the budget of Almaty received 666.2 billion KZT in the first half of this year, which is 23% more than in the first half of 2015.
