The governor of Almaty met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The head of the city mentioned the positive turnover dynamics between Almaty and Uzbekistan, which was increased by 16.7% in 2017 compared to the previous year and amounted to 276.4 million US dollars. Today, 530 enterprises operate in the city with the participation of the capital of Uzbekistan.

In its turn, the Ambassador of the neighboring state noted that these figures indicate a high level of trust and partnership relations between the parties.

"Almaty is a city of business, from where innovations spread throughout the country. Our entrepreneurs have a great interest in projects implemented in the city . 2018 is declared the Year of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan, which will contribute not only to cultural exchange, but also further strengthening of economic ties," said Saidikram Niyazhodzhaev.
