The aim of the competition is the wide involvement of different population groups in the solution of environmental problems of the city, the increase of green areas, promotion, dissemination and practical application of experience of landscape gardening and aesthetic design, innovative approaches and ideas, improving the quality of the maintenance of objects of external beautification, the revival of the former glory of Almaty as a garden city.
The competition will be held in 6 areas:
1."The best design solution for the beautification of educational facilities";
2."The best design solution for the beautification of healthcare facilities";
3."The best design solution for the beautification of the territories of legal and physical persons";
4. "The best park, square, green area of Almaty";
5. "The best courtyard";
6. "The best project of greening of Almaty".
To participate in the contest:
- fill in the application form;
- prepare a short description of the object for the competition with the attachment of photographic materials in electronic form and on paper.
Competitive materials, applications and projects have to be sent to the address: Almaty, Republic square, 4; Department for natural resources and regulation of nature management of the city of Almaty. For the competition "Best landscape gardening 2016".

The applications for participation in the competition will be accepted until August 26, 2016 (incl.).
The award ceremony will be held on the Day of Almaty (September 18, 2016).
