New interchanges will be appeared on the small transport ring of Almaty

The head of the city mentioned that the complex approach was important for the development of city infrastructure. If the street’s’ center is reconstructed with a priority for pedestrians, then it is necessary to make the conditions for a traffic flow around it.

The digging of Nazarbayev Avenue till Zhansugurov Street will significantly reduce the load on the Seifullin Avenue to the "North-South" direction. Today, the works are being done for flyover structures and the retaining wall construction. It is planned to open it in October, which is two months ahead of schedule.

In its turn, at the intersection of Seifullin avenue and Zhansugurov street, the construction of a traffic interchange will increase the throughput capacity of the plot by 20%. The construction will be finished in the fourth quarter of 2019.

A new interchange construction is being done at the intersection of Ryskulov Avenue with the Kuldzhinsky tract, which will increase the small transport ring capacity in the north-east direction. At the moment, builders are making a device for bored piles under the pillar of the overpass and the reorganization of engineering networks. A new traffic interchange is also being built at the intersection of Ryskulov avenue and Yemtsov street.

In order to connect the Nauryzbaysky district with the center, the works are being done at Abay Avenue from Ashimov street to the city's border by unloading the streets of Shalyapin and Zhandosov.

It should be mentioned that this year in the city, there will be updated a few more avenues, besides the previously modernized streets of Panfilov, Zhibek Zholy, Gogol, Kabanbay batyr, Bayseitova, Tolebaev and the "Astana" square. It is planned to repair more than 150 streets and the improvement of almost 600 yards in all districts of the city.
