In Almaty, "Tastak" market and "Sayran" station square will be modernized

The owner of the bus station "Sairan" represented a primary concept of further development of the territory. It is planned to reconstruct the transport logistics of the bus station and create a well-equipped bus station square with fountains, cafes, green areas and children's playgrounds.

The head of the metropolis noted that the territory of the bus station should become a new point of attraction in the microdistrict. Nowadays, there is a renovation of the facade and dismantling of all illegal buildings.

"It is necessary to reconstruct the building as soon as possible and start landscaping around the bus station. Citizens, especially residents of nearby houses, are waiting for us to restore order here," said Bauyrzhan Baibek.

After that the governor of the city inspected the modernization of the universal market "Tastak" on Tole bi street.

To transfer the trade into a modern format, the owner of the market invested about 450 millions tenge. A two-storey building of 4.2 thousand square meters has been established, where most of the entrepreneurs will already be moved in July. After that, the second stage of the market will be reconstructed.

In that day, Bauyrzhan Baibek got acquainted with the construction of the Almatygenplan building on Abai Avenue and the reconstruction of the Republic Square.

It should be mentioned that this summer in Almaty there will completely be renewed a number of city avenues, including previously modernized streets of Panfilov, Zhibek Zholy, Gogol, Kabanbai batyr, Bayseitova, Tolebayev and the "Astana" square. In all districts of the city, more than 150 streets are repaired and nearly 600 yards are improved.
