The central park of Almaty will be reconstructed

The reconstructed park will be divided into the zones where there will be a free skateodrome, a sport’s area with work out playgrounds, fields for team games, a new children's playground. New attractions will be purchased and modernized.

In near future, repair of sidewalks, installation of streetlights and reconstruction of fountains will begin. Non-conforming commercial facilities will be dismantled. On the principles of public-private partnership, reconstruction of the "Cycling Track", which has been inoperative since the 1990s, will be carried out.

An additional planting of trees will be made and the area of the asphalt pavement will be reduced, including the car park close in the center of the city park.

It should be mentioned that this summer in Almaty ,there will repaired more than 150 streets, construction of 30 km sidewalks and accomplishment of almost 600 yards. Major overhaul will cover all underground passages, reconstruction and construction of new fountains are planned. Completely update a number of urban avenues in addition to the previously modernized streets of Panfilov, Zhibek Zholy, Gogol, Kabanbai batyr, Bayseitova, Tolebaev and "Astana" square.
