Almaty and Denmark establish a cooperation in the field of transport, health and energy

Today, the economy of Denmark is one of the most "green" in the world, and Copenhagen is on the first place in the ranking of "Smart City".

According to Thomas Winkler, the great potential of cooperation lies in the sphere of tourism, since the Danes are increasingly interested in Central Asia, and Almaty is an excellent starting point for studying the region.

"Since my last visit to Almaty, many changes have taken place in the city, the metropolis is developing rapidly, especially the new pedestrian areas and the infrastructure for cyclists," said the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark.

During the working trip, representatives of Danish companies providing services in the transport, health and energy sectors examined the potential of the Industrial Zone and FEZ "PIT", and also visited a number of enterprises in Almaty, holding substantive meetings.

We remind you that the trade turnover between Almaty and Denmark has increased by more than 43% and reached 30 million US dollars for a year.
