The plot for the residential complex building in the park "Yuzhny" will be returned to the state

"Due to the fact that during the open discussion of the project the public did not support plans to build a residential complex on the park's territory, the company is ready to transfer the land plot in favor of the state in exchange for an equal area in another part of the city."

The corresponding commitment was taken by the company's CEO Zeki Pilgei.

Earlier, Almaty’s governor Bauyrzhan Baibek held a reception of citizens in the public reception of the city branch of the party "Nur Otan", where the resident Nadezhda Erolskaya raised the issue of the possible construction of a multi-storey residential complex by the private company in the territory of the Yuzhny Park. In turn, the head of the metropolis instructed to hold public hearings on the party platform.

Yuzhny Park is located east of Zharokov street and north of Khojanov street on the territory of 14.2 hectares. Taking into account the recommendations of the residents of the district, reconstruction of the park zone is under way today. It is planned to update the lighting and watering system, create children's and sports grounds. There will be stationary toilets and a fenced area for walking dogs. At the same time, all existing green plantations will be preserved, as well as new ones planted.
