Festive events dedicated to the National Dombra Day will be held in Almaty for the first time

For all residents and guests of the city, master classes will be held on drawing, making and teaching games on dombra, a fair of national and applied art, a photo exhibition of traditional music performers, competitions on playing dombra, musical quizzes and concerts of Dombra players . The youngest guests are waited with special entertainments: face art, ice cream, muffins and gingerbread with the symbol of dombra, etc.

On the street Zhibek Zholy at 12.00 clock will be organized flash mob Dombristov from 500 people who will play "Balbyrauyn" and "Aday" S.Kurmangazy, "Ata Tolgauy" N.Tlendiev and others. Next will be a concert of the folklore and ethnographic ensemble "Sazgen sazy" and performers of traditional music in the open air.

On the street of Panfilov there will pass a photo exhibition of the famous performers of traditional music on dombra.

The celebration will be completed with a solemn ceremony of decorating the building of the Museum, in which Duren Raev, Symbat Elimbetova, the ensemble "Sazgen Sazy" and others will take part.
