On November 8, 2024, a meeting was held in the Department on renaming the names of settlements that are ideologically outdated in the region with the participation of toponymists, historians, linguists of the K. Zhubanov regional university. At the meeting, scientists shared their thoughts on the historical names of settlements and gave a scientific analysis.
