NEW KAZTEST TESTING RULES HAVE BEEN APPROVED

New KAZTEST testing rules have been approved The National Testing Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan informs that new KAZTEST testing rules have been approved, aimed at improving the efficiency and transparency of the Kazakh language proficiency assessment process. KAZTEST testing can be submitted in paper and electronic format. The duration of diagnostic testing is 1 hour 10 minutes, for certification testing-2 hours 7 minutes. The test consists of 20 tasks in the "Listening" part, 40 tasks in the "Reading" part, 2 written tasks in the "subscription" part (only for certification testing) and 2 oral tasks in the "pronunciation" part (only for certification testing). To get a certificate of a certain level, you must score a threshold score for each test block. The threshold score ranges from 30% to 80% of correct answers. At the same time, the maximum score of the "subscription" and " pronunciation" parts is 50 points. The registration process has also been simplified. Individuals of the app.testcenter.kz through the website, you can sign up for testing, and legal entities can send an official letter to the NTC office. KAZTEST results will be available in the personal account of the test taker for three days for the city of Astana and fifteen days for other regions. Note. KAZTEST is a system for assessing the level of proficiency in the Kazakh language. The KAZTEST certificate is mandatory for admission to Kazakhstani universities for doctoral studies and the Bolashak program.
