As part of the celebration of the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan on September 5, 2024, the Language Policy Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the International Society "Kazakh Tili" and the National Scientific and Practical Center "Til-Kazyna" named after Shaysultan Shayakhmetov held a solemn event. The purpose of the event is to popularize the scientific and spiritual heritage of the historical personality Akhmet Baitursynov, the leader of the Alash movement, an outstanding scientist and founder of Kazakh linguistics, within the framework of the day dedicated to his birthday, as well as increasing the respect and love of the people for the state language, increasing the status of the Kazakh language as the state language. The book "Abai" in Kazakh, Russian and English, prepared by the International Society "Kazakh Tili", was also presented at the festive event, and the website of Akhmet Baitursynov was also presented "baitursynuly.kz ". During the meeting, the creative legacy of Akhmet Baitursynov and figures of the Alash movement, topical aspects of the state language, scientific language, new innovations and other issues were discussed. The event was attended by public figure Orazkul Asangazy, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurtore Zhusip, Isa Kazbek, Bolat Kerimbek, President of the International Society "Kazakh Tili" Rauan Kenzhehanuly, academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sherubai Kurmanbayuly, Dikhan Kamzabekuly, Director of the Astana branch of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Dauletkerei Kapuly.
