Happy Symbol Day!

Dear fellow countrymen!
The state symbols of independent Kazakhstan were approved on June 4, 1992 after gaining independence. The coat of arms, flag, anthem are obligatory attributes of any state, symbolizing its existence and sovereignty, and this day will forever remain in our history and the memory of the people.
State symbols are our national treasure, a source of deep respect for the country's history, state language, culture and traditions. At the most important moments of the fate of the Motherland, we are united by state symbols. The flag and coat of arms that define us around the world. Every citizen of Kazakhstan feels a sense of pride and patriotism when the anthem of our Motherland is played at official international events or the Blue Flag is raised.
State symbols represent the values underlying the policy pursued by the Head of State. These are openness, peace, freedom, independence, harmony.
The golden sun with the image of shanyrak in the center, the silhouette of a soaring eagle and the blue flag with the image of the coat of arms made the new independent state – the Republic of Kazakhstan - a symbol of a common shanyrak for all citizens of the country.
