At the briefing of the CCS under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs Darkhan Zhazykbayev spoke about the features of the next selection to the presidential Youth personnel reserve.​According to the Chairman of the Agency, a special feature of the third selection will be the targeted selection, taking into account the needs of the state apparatus for industry personnel.

Thus, the next selection will be carried out in 6 main industries:
* Infrastructure development, industry and trade policy;
* Agro-industrial complex and environmental protection;
* Foreign policy and investment;
* Economic and financial policy;
* Digitization;
* Social policy and civil society.

Also this year, the practice of conducting interviews with candidates with the mandatory participation of representatives of industry central bodies is being introduced.
According to the requirements, a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, no older than 35 years old, with a higher education and 5 years of general work experience, who speaks the state language at least level B1, can take part in the selection. In order to become a member of the presidential youth personnel reserve, candidates must pass a comprehensive selection consisting of 6 stages.
