Today, a meeting was organized under the name "HALYQTYÑ MÄÑGI ĞMYRY-TILINDE" with activists of the language sphere of the region. The deputy akim of the region B. Yeleusinova presided. "The Head of State stressed that raising the status of the Kazakh language in order to turn the Kazakh language into the language of interethnic communication is always one of the top priorities. Today, one of the important topics is that the texts of advertising and visual information are not designed in accordance with the requirements of the legislation on language. This year, 497 raids were conducted in the region, 5349 advertising texts were analyzed. Of these, 3639 visual information and advertising texts were corrected. Over the past 3 years, 241 names have been assigned in the region, including 148 streets that are outdated in the ideological sense, renamed in the names of the Kazakh intelligentsia. Public figures discuss issues of improving the competitiveness of the state language, express opinions and suggestions. I am sure that today's meeting will also contribute to the introduction of the Kazakh language in all spheres of public life, by discussing the barriers that we face in the field of language development."
