JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS IN AKTOBE OBLAST IN THE STATE LANGUAGE Today, a round table on "Expanding the use of the state language in judicial proceedings" was organized by the Department and the regional specialized inter-district administrative court. The round table was attended by the Department of Justice, the Regional Chamber of Private Bailiffs and a number of regional departments through the Zoom platform. The head of the department M. Iskakov raised the issue of providing translation services to representatives of other nationalities, giving priority to the state language in litigation. He also noted that in accordance with the law, all services will be provided first in the state language and, if necessary, in another language. The meeting addressed a number of issues that hinder the conduct of court proceedings in the state language in the region. In particular, the fact that the applicants' attorneys did not fully know the official language submitted the application in the official language, leading to misunderstandings on the part of the applicant in the proceedings. Meetings and awareness-raising events will be held more often to avoid such issues.
