November 20, 2022 extraordinary elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The guarantee of realization of the constitutional right to participate in elections is your inclusion in the list of voters.
Lists are compiled by local executive bodies
(akimats) on the basis of permanent registration at the place of residence on the territory of a particular polling station. Citizens who do not have permanent registration are included in the lists on the basis of an application submitted to the akimats at their location.
Every citizen who will not be able to arrive on voting day at the polling station at the place of their registration, no later than a month before voting day or October 20, 2022, has the right to submit an application to the relevant akimat and register at the polling station at the place of their actual location .
Upon receipt of the appeal, the akimat organizes an exception
a citizen from the list of voters at the place of registration and his inclusion in the list of the polling station where he will vote.
This right can be exercised by:
- citizens who know that on the voting day they will not be at the place of registration;
- non-resident students studying in specialized secondary and
higher educational institutions living outside the dormitories;
- Citizens working on a rotational basis.
A citizen can only be included in one list of voters.
You can check whether you are included in the list of voters at the place of registration through the website or the Call Center of the relevant akimat.
From November 4, 2022, you will be given the opportunity to check your data in the list of voters in your polling station.
