A number of works have been carried out to develop the region's agriculture. The main production of the rural district is animal husbandry. For 2021, for all types of property, there are 2,673 heads of cattle, 437 heads of horses, 164 heads of camels, 7,558 heads of sheep and goats.
In the Zhaisanbai rural district, 2 legal entities, 26 farms, 1 agro-industrial complex, 15 individual entrepreneurs are served on the territory of the rural district. With the support of the state, various measures were taken to support agriculture. In particular, 2 business structures received loans under the "Sybaga" program, 4 business structures - under the "Business" program, 1 business structure - under the "Agribusiness" program. Agricultural machinery was purchased in the farm "Akadil" in the configuration of 2 tractors, 1 trailer-press, 2 tractors of Daulet K LLP, 2 presses.
In accordance with this task, a sown area of 29 hectares was formed for sowing potatoes, vegetables and horticultural crops on the arable lands of the SPK "Darkhan", "Orleu ZhN-2017" and individuals.
