Round table for implementing international and national labor safety standards

"Aktobe enterprises are implementing international and national labor safety standards!" In the Governor's office, 7.10.2020 G. The Department of labor inspection organized a "round table" with individual employers in the region. Aktobe region is an industrial and innovative region, and accordingly, issues of safety and labor protection are relevant. Moderator: chief state labor inspector of Aktobe region Amanbayev S. E., it was noted that 282 enterprises in the region have implemented various standards for safety and labor protection ( OHSAS 18001, MOT - OSS). In addition,20 enterprises are implementing the "Vision Zero"concept(the "0" principle of injuries), and for the first time in the Republic, the "people's control "project is being implemented in JSC" TNK "Kazchrom". The region is implementing A road map to reduce occupational injuries, but problems remain. Ways to solve them were discussed by the participants of the round table. It was also noted that due to the comprehensive measures taken by the authorized state body in the field of labor protection,there is no sharp spike in injuries at the enterprises of the region. However, during the reporting period, there were 45 accidents at work, where 54 people were injured and 11 cases of death. In addition, the participants of the “round table” were informed that in connection with the amendments and additions to the Labor Code,it is planned to introduce a modern labor protection management system at industrial enterprises . At the end of the meeting, separate recommendations were made on strict compliance with legislation in the field of occupational safety and health.
