About the requirements for a candidate for President of the Republic of Kazakhstan The candidate must be a citizen of the Republic by birth; Be at least forty years old; Be fluent in the state language; To live in Kazakhstan for the last fifteen years; Have a higher education; Have at least 5 years of experience in public service or in elected public positions; Have an active right to vote. The nomination ends at 18:00 on October 11, 2022. Candidates are nominated by republican public associations. Registration of candidates is carried out until 18:00 on October 21, 2022.
