The quarantine regime is a unique psychological experience for a modern person. This experience combines, in my opinion, equally positive and negative features. We, tired of long-term self-isolation, of course, can immediately highlight the negative. But, as you know, it is necessary to take advantage of any situation, and we will also try to find positive sides.
⠀
The most important thing is that self-isolation helps a person to look inside himself, since it is now possible to abstract from the fuss and start working on himself. The average person, burdened by the fear of the unknown, is given a unique opportunity to enjoy communion with God. The person begins to resort to prayer. He prays not only for himself, but also for his family and friends.
⠀
In self-isolation, a person has a chance to pay attention to the arrangement of family life and household chores. Service to one's neighbor is already taking place here. Each of us has a unique chance to reach our potential by performing a spiritual feat: having the gift of communication and a sense of humor, we can comfort and sympathize with people who have a particularly hard time, who are on the verge of depression. With love, compassion, patience, and sacrifice, it is possible to overcome feelings of anxiety and emerging fears. As the Bible teaches us: "in love there is no fear, but perfect love casts out fear" (1 John 4.18).
