Trips to Holy places in the southern regions of Kazakhstan to communicate with the spirits of their ancestors (aruakhs) also served as a direct attribute. At the same time, each trip cost believers money investments. According to law enforcement agencies, the principles of financing an organization are similar to" financial pyramids", since each member of the current must bring with them an even greater number of new followers to increase their level in the structure of the current.

In addition, the methods of" healing "used in the organization" ATA Zhol " can not be attributed to folk medicine. And some practices, mechanisms of manipulation and influence on people's consciousness (an attempt to link a person's present with his past, the past of his ancestors, using the emotional state of people, their feelings and experiences) are even dangerous, they negatively affect the psychosomatic state of a person.

For example, one 42-year-old resident of Chelyabinsk, who turned to aisul Duanbayeva, a native of Kazakhstan, the organizer of the occult and mystical cult, tried to solve everyday problems. After examining the woman, the cult activists immediately found a bunch of diseases in her, and began to conduct paid "purification sessions"with her. When working with people, they performed rites of "healing", lashed the backs, arms, and legs of the suffering with a whip, "came into contact" with the spirits of the saints and, using their support, "healed" the sick. For the money of their followers, they were taken to Turkestan, where they performed hours-long rituals of worship on the Holy graves.

This practice did not heal the woman, but on the contrary, led her to a severe psychological disorder – she began to hear voices, and persecution mania appeared. Subsequently, the results of the examination showed that the woman suffered serious harm to her health. For her own money, Chelyabinsk gave more than 100 thousand rubles (approx. – 580 thousand tenge) to the sect's activists for "purification sessions".(information newtimes.kz).

In the Republic of Kazakhstan, the specialized inter-district economic court of the city of Almaty issued a decision on the liquidation and prohibition of the activities of ATA Zhol on November 5, 2008.
