Specialists of the Department of Religious Affairs conducted explanatory and research work among entrepreneurs on the sale and distribution of religious literature, objects and materials for religious purposes on January 31 this year. The events included the Nurdaulet market, Zhilgorodok in Aktobe, Anvar supermarket on Sh. Kaldayakov Street, trading houses "Nectar", "Asyl". During the monitoring, no violations were detected in these places.

It should be noted that in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Religious Activities and Religious Associations", religious literature, other information materials of religious content, religious objects can be placed only in houses of worship (buildings), religious educational organizations, as well as in local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance and distribution of the capital is allowed in specially installed permanent premises. In this regard, dear citizens, you are asked to immediately inform the regional Department for Religious Affairs in case of detection of facts of distribution or sale of literature or information materials of religious content without special permission.
