Representatives of public councils discussed mechanisms of effective work

Today, at the site of the Samruk–Kazyna Foundation, a strategic session "Organization of activities and goal-setting of public councils in the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held for representatives of public councils of national companies and government agencies. 

The event was organized by the Eurasian Expert Council. The event was held within the framework of the project "Development of the Institute of Public Councils" with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

The event was attended by Madiyar Kozhakhmet, Chairman of the Committee for Civil Society Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Acting Chairman of the Board of the Center for Supporting Civil Initiatives Galym Kurman, Chairman of the Public Council of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna" Bolat Zhamishev, members of the public councils of national companies, as well as central and local government bodies. 

- One of the most important components of the project is the development and modernization of a special Internet portal kazkenes.kz. According to the results of last year, personal accounts were created on this site for more than 500 members of public councils of state bodies of different regions, - said the acting Chairman of the Board of the CSCI, Galym Kurman. 

During the meeting members of the public councils got acquainted with the methodology of effective work based on the international practice and methodology of UNDP and TRASCO. The participants of the event were told about the criteria and tools of work, regulatory and practical foundations of the work of public councils.
