«Prof Navigation» project: more than 20 thousand schoolchildren have decided on their future profession

20 586 high school students from all regions of the country passed 85 trainings in 5 areas within the framework of the «Profinavigation» project:

«Effective communication, public speaking skills», «Project thinking», «Career guidance and career trajectory building», «Emotional intelligence», «Teamwork».

The participants of the trainings acquainted with the basics of project management, budget planning, improved their skills in public speaking. Moreover they were also able to decide on the choice of profession in accordance with the trends of the time, taking into account their abilities and interests, etc.

The main goal of the project is to develop the skills and competencies of young people for the most popular modern professions.

So, by the end of the year it is planned to conduct psychological diagnostics and testing of at least 20 thousand high school students in online on the basis of the career guidance platform «EduNavigator».

In addition, within the framework of the project, online meetings were held with professionals from leading sectors of the economy and graduates of leading universities of Kazakhstan and foreign universities, videos were developed on the issues of choosing a profession.

The main partners of the project were the Association of Graduates of the international scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Bolashak», the companies «BTS Education» and «International Academy of Emotional Intelligence».

The project «Profnavigation» is implemented by the public foundation «Development of Civil and Legal Initiatives» with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development and Civil Initiatives Support Center.
