The MIOR discussed the revised draft law in the field of volunteering, charity

Since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Information and Social Development has been working on the development of a draft law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Volunteer Activities, Charity, State Social Order and Grants for Non-Governmental Organizations."

At present, the working group, having completed a series of discussions at various sites, finalized the draft law, which took into account the comments and recommendations of the members of the working group, public discussions, expert reviews (legal, economic and anti-corruption), government bodies and NPP Atameken.

Based on the results of the norm-setting work, specific legal mechanisms have been developed and introduced, corresponding to the instructions of the Head of State for further improving the sphere of volunteering and charity.

Recall that since the beginning of the year, 4 meetings of the working group and 7 public discussions on the draft law have been held. According to the plan of legislative work, the direction of the Draft Law for consideration by the Government is planned in July, the Mazhilis of Parliament in September.
