Under the auspices of the national project "Marathon of Good Deeds", the campaign "Kayyrymdy ister" was launched, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence.
As part of the promotion, customers can pay for goods for those in need and leave them on special shelves pre-installed in stores, supermarkets, pharmacies or clothing stores. The organizers of the campaign want to remind Kazakhstanis that good deeds can be done every day, even during a trip to a nearby store.
Everyone can join the charity event. To do this, entrepreneurs need to install special shelves in their stores or pharmacies, or post a list of paid goods by other customers.
The Magnum supermarket chain was one of the first to support the campaign. So, from April 13 to May 12, customers can buy Iftar kits for charity purposes in all stores of the chain. To each donated set from the buyer, the retail chain will add another one from itself and with the help of volunteers of the charitable foundations "Wasilya" and "Al-Amin" will be delivered to mosques.
However, on the magnum website.kz a function will be available, with the help of which the buyer of the retail chain will be able to make a donation to Sadaqa by transferring funds to the account of the Zakat Foundation under the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan. This feature will also be installed on special racks with a QR code leading to the payment page in the Zakat fund.
In addition, "Shelves of Good" with free goods have already appeared in stores in Almaty, Akmola and East Kazakhstan regions. According to entrepreneurs, mostly local residents leave there the basic necessities: bread, butter and cereals.
We remind you that using the hashtag #KayyrymdyIster in social networks, you can tell about your good deeds or find out which stores in your city supported the charity event.
